Job summary

Barnet and Southgate College is seeking Exam Invigilators to support the Examinations Team across campus. The post holder will provide an efficient invigilation service to ensure the best conditions for candidates and uphold examination rules.

Examinations can be held on weekdays, evenings and Saturdays. You must communicate clearly with students and staff, work accurately under pressure, and remain calm and reassuring in exam rooms.

Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Exams Invigilators. The successful candidates will work for the Examinations Team as part of the invigilator bank of staff. The post holder will provide an efficient invigilation service in order to ensure the best conditions possible for candidates and to prevent any breach of the rules under which examinations are conducted.

Examinations can be held on weekdays, evenings and Saturdays. You will have the ability to work with a variety of students in a friendly and professional manner. Be able to work with accuracy and pay attention to detail. You should have the ability to work well under pressure and be able to meet tight deadlines. As part of the role, you must be able to take direction and follow instructions, be confident and a reassuring presence to candidates in exam rooms. Excellent communication skills are required with the ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with students and staff at varying levels.
