Job summary

Hoop Education invites reliable Exam Invigilators to support schools and colleges in Cardiff during examination periods. You will help maintain calm, fair, and secure exam conditions in line with awarding body regulations.

Responsibilities include setting up rooms, distributing papers, supervising candidates, handling incidents, and keeping accurate records. Training will be provided, and safeguarding checks (including DBS) may be required.

• Ensure exam conditions are maintained throughout the examination.

• Respond appropriately to candidate queries, referring issues to the Lead Invigilator when necessary.
• Escort candidates to and from the examination room when required.
• Deal with any incidents or irregularities calmly and in line with procedures.
• Complete required documentation accurately and report any concerns to the examinations officer.
• Assist with the secure collection and return of exam materials at the end of each session.
