Job summary

MASS in Salisbury, Porton Down, is seeking an EW Systems Engineer to join a major national defence transformation programme. You will apply MBSE and traditional systems engineering across the lifecycle to translate operational needs into robust EW solutions.

You will collaborate with scientists, engineers and end users, own requirements management in DOORS/EA, and contribute to verification, validation and acceptance testing, while maintaining security clearances and UK national work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Systems Engineering across the lifecycle.
• Experience with requirements management using DOORS, EA or similar.
• Experience producing Systems Engineering documentation.
• Experience in verification, validation and acceptance testing.
• Experience engaging technical and operational stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Electronic Warfare (EW) principles or EW systems.

Responsibilities

• Translate real-world operational challenges into robust engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers and end users across the lifecycle.
• Apply MBSE and traditional systems engineering from requirements to integration and validation.
• Serve as the main technical contact for EW-related discussions.
