Job summary

MCR Pathways is seeking an Evidence and Impact Officer to turn quantitative and qualitative data into robust insights and reports that demonstrate mentoring impact.

You will support evaluation frameworks, develop dashboards, and communicate findings to schools, authorities, funders and policy makers, helping to drive informed decisions and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in qualitative and quantitative data analysis and interpretation.
  • Experience with monitoring and evaluation approaches (Logic Models, MEL, Theory of Change).
  • Proficiency in data visualization to communicate insights (Tableau, Looker Studio, Google Sheets).
  • Ability to present data clearly to internal and external stakeholders, including young people.
  • Strong team player with ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Support development of Outcomes Evaluation Framework and data tools, ensuring accurate data collection and storage.
  • Generate actionable insights through analysis and visualization, identifying trends and improvement areas.
  • Create high quality evidence and impact reports for schools, funders and policymakers.
  • Create and quality assure accessible dashboards for real-time performance insights.
  • Train delivery staff in data collection methods and system use to embed data culture.

Job description

Are you passionate about using data and evidence to change young people’s lives? We are looking for an Evidence and Impact Officer to join our Systems, Evidence and Impact team – someone who can turn our quantitative and qualitative data into robust insights and compelling reports that demonstrate the difference mentoring makes to young people, mentors and the education and skills system.

Key responsibilities
  • Support the ongoing development of our Outcomes Evaluation Framework and monitoring tools, ensuring accurate collection, storage and analysis of quantitative and qualitative outcomes data.
  • Generate actionable insights through thoughtful and robust analysis and visualisation – identifying trends, successes and areas for improvement.
  • Create high quality evidence and impact reports for internal and external audiences, including schools, local authorities, funders and policy makers.
  • Create, maintain and quality assure accessible data dashboards to give delivery teams real-time insight into programme performance.
  • Train and support delivery staff in data collection methods and the use of our systems, helping to embed a culture of impact and data across the charity.
About you
  • Have proven experience in qualitative and quantitative data analysis and interpretation.
