Whytematter is recruiting a Sales & Events Executive for an established hospitality business based in Enniskillen. This role involves managing enquiries across weddings, conferences, private events and associated accommodation, and identifying new opportunities to grow the events side of the business.

You will guide clients from initial enquiry through planning and coordination, ensuring a fantastic experience and impressive event outcomes.

Qualifications

• Previous events and/or conference sales experience.
• Hospitality experience and understanding of customer expectations.
• Passion for events and delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong sales and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple events and priorities.
• Confident dealing with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
• Proactive, energetic and commercially minded.
• Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends when events require it.
• Experience within a hotel, events venue or licensed hospitality environment would be beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Managing wedding, conference and event enquiries from initial contact through to booking.
• Building relationships with clients and guiding them through the event planning process.
• Identifying new business opportunities and driving event revenue.
• Coordinating weddings, events, showcases and wedding fayres.
• Working closely with internal teams to ensure events run smoothly.
• Upselling additional services and facilities where appropriate.
• Managing event administration including bookings, payments, invoices, budgets and supplier information.
• Liaising and negotiating with external suppliers and contractors.
• Working alongside Marketing to develop and promote new events and packages.
