Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Preparation of food in line with chef instructions.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and restaurant areas.
• Providing friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to customers.
• Flexibility to work in all kitchens, serveries, staff canteens, and external reception spaces.
• Ensuring all areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Organising and maintaining catering storage areas.
• Receiving, inspecting, and storing goods and equipment.
• Assisting with food preparation and service as required.
• Reporting incidents, accidents, or irregularities promptly.
• Reporting broken equipment to the chef.

The Pump Room in Bath is looking for an Events Wash up/Kitchen Porter to join the team and support the day-to-day running of the venue.

The Georgian Pump Room has been the social heart of Bath for more than two centuries, with previous patrons including Jane Austen and Charles Dickens.

Job Description

Job Type: Full-Time, 40-hour contract

This role is based on 5 out of 7 days, Monday to Sunday, with some occasional evening work required due to the nature of the business, so flexibility is essential.

Predominantly evening shifts

You will work closely with the team to create a nurturing and positive environment.
