Live Recruitment Limited is seeking an Event Technical Project Manager to own projects from brief to onsite delivery for international pharma and healthcare events.
You will manage proposals, budgets and logistics, coordinate LED/AV production, and lead onsite crews across global venues—enabling complex, high-profile productions with flexibility and significant travel.
Hybrid working: 3 days in office minimum (Derby)
International medical congresses and pharma exhibitions across the globe, LED and interactive content at a scale most AV careers never reach. An Event Technical Project Manager role with end-to-end ownership, a daily onsite rate on top of salary and 5-star accommodation wherever the project takes you.
This is a boutique international AV consultancy specialising in video, LED and interactive content for healthcare and pharma events across the globe. Founded over two decades ago, the business works directly with end clients and agencies, with a significant share of projects delivered internationally. The team is tight-knit and collaborative, the freelancer pool is extensive, and new client wins are already in the pipeline.
The Event Technical Project Manager takes full ownership of projects from initial brief and pitch through to onsite delivery, working across international medical congresses, exhibitions and corporate events in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector.
You will come from an AV supply or AV consultancy background and have genuine end-to-end project management experience, having taken projects from brief and pitch through to onsite delivery as an Event Technical Project Manager or equivalent. Pitching to clients, writing proposals and managing production onsite are all second nature to you, and you understand LED fundamentals well enough to plan and oversee builds confidently.
The ideal Event Technical Project Manager will have existing pharma or healthcare event client relationships, though this is beneficial rather than essential, as is international event logistics experience and familiarity with interactive systems such as touch screens or bespoke apps. More important is a genuine appetite for international travel and the ambition to grow with a business that is actively expanding its client base.
The package on offer sits at £50,000 to £70,000 base DOE, with a daily onsite rate on top, 5-star accommodation and full expenses throughout your travels, and structured annual salary reviews as the business continues to grow. This is a strong fit for an Event Technical Project Manager who wants a role built around international delivery,
