Job Description

This role is based in our 240 Blackfriars, London office

Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager and based in 240 Blackfriars Rd in London, to work within the Operations team to ensure that the customer service for all events within the Labelexpo Global Series portfolio is second to none. They will be involved in pre-show communications for all global shows in the portfolio. They will work closely with all departments and event teams in particular marketing and operations to ensure a high quality of delivery internally, and externally in respect of contracted service providers and customers.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Coordination and communication with exhibitors – key point of contact for all events
  • Prompt handling of all operations and marketing queries regarding the events via phone and email
  • Assistance with placement of orders, refunds or exchanges e.g. VIP tickets, packages etc
  • Production of communications plan for all shows
  • Management and oversight of portal set-up, working closely with Marketing Director, web team and Senior Ops Exec
  • Management of chasers for HSS documentation and GL Insurance for all events
  • Exhibitor package fulfilment
  • Work with Senior Ops Exec in organisation and production of Label Awards evening
  • Work with Senior Ops Exec in organisation and production of social events in relation to the shows / summits
  • Work with Senior Ops Exec and event administrator on floorplan and exhibitor list reconciliation
Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
  • Experience within the Exhibition Industry
  • Team Player and Flexibility a must
  • Impeccable English (additional languages a strong advantage)
  • Self -Motivated and able to work on own initiative.
  • Experience of working with external suppliers
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills
  • Project and Time Management Skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deal with confrontation.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
