Job description

We're looking for an experienced Events Supervisor to join our Central Venues team, based at the iconic M Shed in Bristol. This is a hands-on role where you'll be the sole representative of the site to clients, ensuring every event runs smoothly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage events on-site, acting as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders
  • Supervise and motivate teams of up to 15 staff across various departments
  • Champion Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) practices, ensuring compliance and promoting a safe working culture
  • Coordinate with other venues and departments to support multi-site operations
  • Maintain the highest standards of service and presentation, driving a culture of excellence
  • Adapt to flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules
About You:
  • Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within events or hospitality
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A proactive approach and a drive for perfection
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
  • Ability to work independently and confidently represent the venue
