Job summary

CastleBell Ltd is seeking an established Project Director or Executive Producer to lead a flagship London B2B event, with planning kicking off in January and delivery in June.

Joining two senior leaders, you will oversee a large delivery team, manage the budget with the Client Lead, and own the project plan from kickoff to delivery.

You will unite heads of operations, venue, F&B, technical production, exhibition and sponsorship, while mentoring junior colleagues.

Our client is looking for an established Project Director or Executive Producer with the breadth and depth of experience to take command of a major B2B event.

Joining two other senior leaders in the delivery team, this person will lead a flagship London project taking place in June, with planning kicking off in January. Think large keynote plenary, multiple breakouts and a substantial expo with sponsors.

The focus: oversight of a large delivery team, commercial control of the budget alongside the Client Lead, and ownership of the project plan from kick‑off through to delivery.

They will bring together heads of operations, venue and F&B, technical production, exhibition and sponsorship, bringing in specialist producers where needed. Alongside delivery, they will help develop and mentor junior team members.

The Essentials Really Are Essential

• Proven Project Director or Executive Producer experience within an events agency.
• Extensive delivery experience across large-scale B2B conferences, exhibitions and tech summits, including plenaries, multiple breakouts and sponsor expos.
• The credibility to earn a client’s respect quickly and manage complex relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong commercial judgement and experience overseeing substantial budgets and large delivery teams.
• The ability to see the bigger picture while keeping every workstream moving.

Tech sector experience would be a bonus.
