Now Hiring: Events / Programme Manager!


Hybrid - Old Street, London | £50,000 - £55,000 | Not-for-Profit | 12-Month FTC (with potential to go permanent)


Are you a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives on bringing people together through well-executed events and high-impact programmes? We're looking for an enthusiastic Events / Programme Manager to join our client, a purpose-led, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping UK businesses grow, thrive, and overcome the barriers holding them back.


Through research, partnerships, and practical support initiatives, they deliver national programmes that drive meaningful change, whether through strategic business support, peer learning networks, or major public-facing events.


About the Role


This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you'll take the lead in managing and delivering a wide range of programmes and events from planning through to execution. You'll work across logistics, partner coordination, reporting, and delivery, playing a central role in making things happen. No two days are the same, and your work will directly contribute to impactful initiatives.


Key Responsibilities



  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver a variety of national events and programmes

  • Manage logistics, timelines, and communications across multiple live workstreams

  • Support budget tracking and basic contractual processes

  • Coordinate a flagship annual event and accompanying report, working with partners and contributors

  • Prepare clear, concise reports and updates for senior leadership and stakeholders

  • Provide delivery support for leadership and peer-learning programmes, including content development, logistics, and relationship management

  • Help run national roadshow activities-securing venues, managing speaker engagement, and ensuring smooth delivery

  • Contribute to the wider programme of work, supporting events, research projects, and external engagement


What We're Looking For



  • Strong experience in project management, managing events and/or programmes from end to end

  • Excellent organisational skills and a high attention to detail

  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal

  • Comfortable working across multiple priorities and stakeholder groups

  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and within a small team

  • Experience in a not-for-profit or mission-led environment is a bonus, but not essential


The Details



  • Contract: 12-month FTC (with potential to become permanent)

  • Location: Old Street, London (hybrid working)

  • Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience

  • Hours: Full-time, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

  • Start: ASAP - ideally August
