This is an exciting opportunity to work with event organisers, cultural partners, suppliers, colleagues and communities, helping to coordinate public events, outreach activities, filming and cultural programmes across the area.

You will:
You will be the first point of contact for event organisers and film production companies, providing expert advice, practical support and professional guidance to help bring exciting events and filming projects to life across Council-owned venues and public spaces.
You will be someone who enjoys making things happen. Calm under pressure and confident working with different people, you will combine creative thinking with the attention to detail needed to deliver safe, compliant and successful activities.
You will bring:
You should be educated to diploma or degree level, or be able to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge and experience. No specific professional membership is required.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to activities that animate public spaces, engage communities and create memorable experiences for residents and visitors.
You will work across a varied and high-profile portfolio, building relationships throughout the Council and with organisers and partners across Bath and North East Somerset and the wider region. It is a role for someone who wants to see the tangible results of their work and take pride in helping great ideas become well-managed, welcoming and successful experiences.
The role includes occasional evening and weekend working to support events, filming and cultural programmes, with time off in lieu provided. It may also involve occasional low to medium-intensity physical activity and controlled outdoor working. A driving licence is desirable. The post is not politically restricted and does not require a DBS check.
If you are passionate about events, confident working with people and excited by the challenge of turning plans into memorable experiences, we would love to hear from you.
