The Institute of Water is seeking an enthusiastic Events and Marketing Manager to lead its national events programme, including the annual conference, and to develop campaigns that increase membership and engagement. This hybrid role requires onsite work in Gateshead one day a week.

Qualifications

• Experience of planning and delivering events, including larger-scale conferences.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging content.
• Experience of marketing campaigns and understanding of digital marketing channels.
• Comfort working with budgets, suppliers and external stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver the annual conference and national events programme, managing budgets and logistics to suppliers and evaluation.
• Develop and deliver engaging, targeted marketing campaigns that support membership growth, retention, events and wider organisational objectives.
• Identify and develop sponsorship, exhibition and partnership opportunities that deliver value for members and generate income.
• Work collaboratively with the volunteer network, supporting Area representatives and the Events Committee to deliver successful events.
• Use data, feedback and insights to evaluate performance and improve activities.
