This is a hands-on role that requires someone who is results-driven, calm under pressure, and comfortable working with senior stakeholders and external partners. The ideal candidate will bring strong event marketing experience, a passion for creativity, excellent written English, and a flair for compelling copywriting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop targeted marketing plans with audience-focused, benefit-led messaging
  • Manage direct reports, supporting their development and delivery
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, media partners, and external organisations
  • Create and update commercial marketing materials (e.g. media packs, case studies, presentations)
  • Maintain detailed marketing timelines and project plans to ensure campaigns run on time and within budget
  • Analyse and report on campaign and event performance; use insights to inform continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with the commercial sales team to generate, track, and convert qualified leads
  • Plan, build, test, and report on email campaigns using Acoustic
  • Write and proof marketing copy across web, email, and print channels; liaise with designers and sub-editors
  • Coordinate the distribution and promotion of post-event content to maximise ROI and engagement
  • Support wider marketing team initiatives and cross-functional collaboration as needed

  • Commercially astute and entrepreneurial outlook
  • Ability to work to agreed deadlines, working well under pressure
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills in order to manage and prioritise workload
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including spelling, grammar and proofreading, with the ability to tailor style and approach to suit a variety of global audiences
  • Interested in international higher education
  • MS Office essential – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Educated to a degree level
