Job description

We are looking for an experienced and creative Events Manager to join our client's team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a highly organised individual with a proven track record in events management, who can juggle multiple projects and deliver exceptional results.

You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events across a variety of sectors, working closely with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events, from corporate functions to private events.
  2. Liaise with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget, ensuring all elements of the event are aligned.
  3. Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and suppliers.
  4. Oversee event set-up, on-the-day coordination, and post-event breakdown.
  5. Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
  6. Develop creative concepts and proposals tailored to client needs.
  7. Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality.
  8. Evaluate event success and client satisfaction, providing feedback and recommendations for future improvements.

Key Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in events management, with a portfolio demonstrating successful events you have managed.
  2. A strong eye for detail and creativity, with the ability to conceptualise and deliver innovative event experiences.
  3. Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-first approach to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
  5. Ability to think on your feet and resolve issues swiftly and efficiently during the planning and execution phases.
  6. Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules.

This position offers flexible working hours over 3 days per week, with opportunities to work with a variety of high-profile clients and exciting events.
