Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Events Manager to join the team at the Natural History Museum. The role involves planning and delivering small functions, canape receptions, Natural History Museum sleepovers, and silent disco parties.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading on-site event operations
  • Managing catering logistics, including event files, briefing sheets, and service plans
  • Handling enquiries and client feedback professionally and promptly
  • Working to improve sales and service standards
  • Leading and motivating the team through evaluations, training, and mentoring
  • Managing budgets, forecasting, and cost control

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
  • Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communicator with motivational skills
  • Flexible to work on events as required
  • A passion for food and wine is a plus
