JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Events Manager / Event Coordinator & Planner with experience in contract catering, particularly from an operational and planning perspective.

As the Events Manager / Event Coordinator & Planner, you will oversee the entire event delivery process, ensuring client needs are met from tasting to post-event sign-off.

You will collaborate closely with the sales team during the initial handover to understand and execute client expectations.

The ideal candidate will have operational and planning experience within a contract catering environment.

DUTIES

Your responsibilities include:

  • Placing orders, preparing item lists, collating menus, allergen sheets, and managing event administration.
  • Communicating effectively internally to coordinate departmental roles.
  • Producing profit and loss analyses for each event.
  • Collaborating with the operations manager to enhance efficiency and service standards.
  • Supervising and coordinating staff to ensure successful event execution.
  • Participating in weekly operations meetings.
  • Assisting in logistics scheduling.
  • Responding to initial sales inquiries professionally and knowledgeably.
  • Providing a friendly and welcoming experience to clients from the first contact.
