Job Description:

Role Overview

Carnival UK is seeking an Events Manager to support our Events and partnerships within the P&O Cruises team, delivering high-profile events such as the BAFTA TV Awards and the Pride of Britain Awards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and executing an annual calendar of events and brand activations
  • Managing all aspects of event projects, including creative, production, timelines, risks, and resources
  • Leading internal teams and external suppliers to deliver events and brand activities
  • Overseeing brand partnerships, including planning cruises and managing budgets

This role is classified as CUK07, full-time, fixed-term for 12 months, with hybrid working (up to two days remote). The start date is early October.

Requirements:

  • Experience managing events in hospitality, business change, or related fields
  • Strong project planning and risk management skills
  • Leadership and team development abilities
  • Experience managing external agencies and suppliers
