Events & Marketing Manager
Central London (Hybrid)
£36,000 - £38,000 + Excellent Benefits

Our client is a dynamic organisation at the heart of one of London's most vibrant districts, bringing together businesses, cultural institutions, and local authorities to drive community engagement, economic development, and cultural vibrancy.

They are now seeking an experienced Events & Marketing Manager to support the Head of Marketing and Events in delivering innovative, inclusive, and high-impact campaigns across the Aldgate and Cheapside areas.

About the Role

You will lead the coordination and delivery of a diverse programme of events, activations, and marketing initiatives that enhance the cultural landscape and public realm of the area. This is a hands-on role that combines creativity with operational rigour and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a year-round programme of cultural and community events, including seasonal activities, public art installations, exhibitions, and partner-led initiatives.
  • Establish partnerships with organisations such as London Fashion Week, London Craft Week, Pride, fringe festivals, and other citywide events to raise the area's cultural profile.
  • Drive marketing campaigns that support the organisation's strategic goals, using entrepreneurial approaches to build awareness, footfall, and engagement.
  • Manage communications channels, including websites, social media, and monthly newsletters, ensuring content is fresh, relevant, and engaging.
  • Engage stakeholders including local businesses, residents, artists, and creatives to co-create and shape the events programme.
  • Lead on compliance and logistical planning, including permissions, health and safety, risk assessments, and other statutory requirements-particularly liaising with the City of London Corporation.
  • Support steering groups and contribute to the development of long-term strategy for cultural activation in the area.
