Part-Time Fundraising Coordinator (18-24 hours per week)

Location: Hybrid Rochester office

Hours: 9:00 - 15:00 (flexible)

About the Role

My client is looking for a friendly, organised, and enthusiastic Fundraising Coordinator to join our team part-time. You\'ll play a key role in supporting our fundraising and events, helping us build strong relationships with our community of supporters, and making sure every fundraiser feels valued and recognised.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, is confident with admin tasks, and wants to use their skills to make a difference.

What You\'ll Be Doing
  • Acting as the first point of contact for supporters, donors, and volunteers.
  • Keeping donor records up to date using our CRM system.
  • Helping to plan and deliver fundraising events.
  • Supporting with donor communications and thank-yous.
  • Coordinating collection tins and finding new placement opportunities.
  • Managing day-to-day admin, from correspondence to financial documentation.
  • Assisting with funding applications and reporting.
  • Working with the digital team to create engaging supporter content.

No two days will be the same—you might be organising an event one day and cheering on bucket collectors the next!

About you

Essential:

  • Confident, committed, and passionate about making a difference.
  • Strong organisational and admin skills.
  • Excellent written English and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the charity or non-profit sector.
  • Customer service skills and a positive, approachable manner.
  • Confidence speaking about our work to the public.
  • An interest in volunteering and community projects.
