Job description

Events Executive within Financial Services – hybrid!

Location: Near Liverpool Street


Type: Ongoing temporary role with potential for permanent placement


Salary: £160-170 per day


Working hours: 9am-5pm

Work arrangement: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home, with flexibility especially around event dates.


WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Lead, organise, and deliver impactful, high-profile events such as conferences, report launches, and roundtables.
  • Oversee operations, ensuring efficient business processes and smooth day-to-day activities.
  • Manage the website and digital communications to ensure the brand is well represented.
  • Support the Chief Executive with diary management, meetings, and corporate governance.
  • Monitor finances in partnership with the Financial Controller, including invoicing, budget reporting, and audits.
  • Act as an ambassador for the company at industry events and meetings.
WHO YOU ARE:
  • Proven experience in leading and delivering high-profile events from planning to delivery and post-event analysis.
  • Strong operational experience, with excellent organisational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Financial management experience, including budget monitoring and reporting.
  • Strong digital and technical skills, including WordPress, Mailchimp, Eventbrite, LinkedIn, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • High attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and a proactive, collaborative approach.
