Job description

About The Role

At Cooper Parry, we don't do ordinary events. We're looking for an Events Executive to join our team, playing a key role in bringing our events programme to life, helping create experiences that connect, inspire and deliver real value for our clients, prospects and communities. Working closely with the Events Manager and wider Marketing team, you'll support the planning, coordination and delivery of a diverse programme of events, from large-scale conferences and networking events to roundtable dinners, webinars and thought leadership sessions. You'll be highly organised, proactive and confident managing multiple priorities at once. From setting up events in our systems and coordinating communications, to liaising with venues, speakers and internal teams, you'll ensure every detail is considered and every event runs seamlessly. We're looking for someone with previous events experience who is passionate, loves the buzz of bringing people together and enjoys building relationships. You'll be willing to travel to event locations across the UK and Northern Ireland and thrive on turning ideas into well-executed events that leave a lasting impression. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their events career, with the chance to take ownership of smaller events from concept through to delivery while supporting some of Cooper Parry's flagship events across the UK. As your experience grows, you'll be given increasing responsibility and the opportunity to shape and deliver our events programme. This role is initially being offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract. While we'd ideally like the successful candidate to be based at our Midlands or London offices, we're happy to consider applicants based elsewhere provided they're able to travel to events across the UK and Northern Ireland when required.

You'll be getting stuck in with a wide range of tasks, including;

  • Managing event administration, registrations, trackers and internal updates.
  • Setting up events and managing data across Cvent, Salesforce and our website.
  • Coordinating venues, suppliers, budgets, diaries, merchandise and event logistics.
  • Delivering event invitations, communications, social activity and internal promotion.
  • Supporting events on the ground across the UK and Northern Ireland, from setup and registration to live coordination.
  • Managing post-event communications, attendance, feedback and reporting.
  • Taking ownership of smaller events from brief to delivery, managing everything from planning and promotion to logistics and follow-up.

A simple notion, but an irreplaceable part of what makes CP, CP.

In addition to the above, as an Events Executive you should also have…

  • A minimum of 1-years events experience
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • A keen eye for detail,
  • A can-do attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure,
  • Energy, creativity and a desire to bring fresh ideas to our growing events programme
