The role:

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Events Executive to support planning, coordination, and execution of internal and external events across Howden CAP. You will create memorable, brand-aligned experiences supporting client engagement, blending logistics, creativity, and collaboration.

What you'll do:
  1. Map out all CAP events with the Head of Client Engagement
  2. Plan and execute events, including venue sourcing and attendee management
  3. Collaborate with marketing to design invitations, track RSVPs, and create post-event content
  4. Design PDF invites for smaller events
  5. Track event performance via Compass campaigns
  6. Assist with event setup and manage last-minute changes
  7. Submit business cases for events, ensuring compliance and approvals
  8. Handle event expenses through Chrome River and Finops
  9. Maintain electronic files and documents for all events
  10. Manage the CAP events calendar and tracker
  11. Organize internal events and manage virtual platforms like ON24
  12. Source tickets and coordinate conference participation
  13. Monitor the CAP Events inbox and reply to inquiries
  14. Coordinate company trips and team away days with agencies
  15. Collaborate with the sponsorship team and manage sponsorship invitations
  16. Coordinate with internal teams for smooth event execution
  17. Track event performance and share updates
  18. Lead CAP’s Community Impact initiatives
  19. Work with the Events Analyst to improve processes
  20. Address ad-hoc event queries
