The Role

This is a hands-on Events & Engagement Intern role, working closely with the Events & Engagement Manager and the wider Marketing team. You'll support delivery across webinars, exhibitions, trade shows, and social media - getting involved in live activity from day one.

This role suits someone who wants to take on real responsibility early, is comfortable representing Bright in front of clients and audiences, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days look the same.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the webinar calendar, keeping activity planned and coordinated across multiple campaigns, products, and audiences
  • Support live webinar delivery, including technical and speaker support
  • Own webinar reporting, tracking registrations, attendance, engagement, and lead generation
  • Research competitor webinar activity and suggest new ideas for topics, formats, and audience engagement
Events & Exhibitions
  • Support the Events & Engagement Manager with planning and delivery of exhibitions, trade shows, roadshows, and other in-person event
  • Assist with event logistics - suppliers, venues, merchandise, equipment, collateral, shipping, registrations, and attendee requirements
  • Attend and represent Bright at events across the UK and, where required, Ireland
  • Support post-event activity including lead management, reporting, and analysis
  • Research new event opportunities and contribute ideas for how Bright can stand out and engage target audiences
Social Media
  • Support delivery of Bright's social media activity across multiple channels, audiences, and brands
  • Draft and schedule social content that is consistent with each brand's tone of voice and objectives
  • Provide live social media coverage from Bright events, exhibitions, and webinars
  • Monitor social performance and use insights to inform future content decisions
  • Stay current with platform developments and content trends, sharing ideas relevant to Bright
What We’re Looking For
Essential
  • Creative, curious, and full of ideas - with the initiative to act on them
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • A confident communicator who is comfortable working with a range of people
  • Comfortable writing and adapting content for different audiences and platforms
  • Willing to take ownership and responsibility for your work
  • Analytical and interested in understanding performance - what worked, what didn't, and why
  • Willing to travel and attend events across the UK
  • Comfortable appearing on camera for Bright's webinars, including facilitating or hosting sessions
  • Comfortable working alongside AI tools; curious about how technology can make you better at your job
Desirable
  • Experience or knowledge of social media platforms and content creation
  • Familiarity with tools such as Canva or similar creative platforms
  • Experience using webinar, CRM, email marketing, or social scheduling platforms
  • An interest in B2B marketing, technology, or SaaS
  • A degree or qualification in marketing, communications, events management, or a related field
