Established in 2006, Studio Giggle has been creating award-winning content for nearly two decades. Based in The Paintworks, Bristol, we specialize in designing and producing interactive, immersive, and extraordinary events. Our team also creates animated and filmed content for global brands and marketing campaigns.

We are a small, close-knit team of curious creatives working on technical projects such as complex event installations, streaming events, real-time XR studio environments, and explainer animations. Most work involves animation, mixed media, motion graphics, and film, all technically advanced. We pride ourselves on delivering creatively challenging, technically sophisticated immersive content.

Our studio is located in The Paintworks, Bristol, a creative hub near The Bocabar, a popular social spot.

Position Overview

Working with the CEO, Managing Director, and Board, you will ensure effective business and creative events operations, providing high service levels to clients.

The Events Director leads planning, execution, and delivery of all studio events, ensuring they are creative, flawless, and aligned with business goals. You will collaborate with leadership, clients, and internal teams to create impactful experiences that embody our brand and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of client events.
  • Develop client briefs into innovative event concepts.
  • Ensure events meet creative, technical, and operational standards.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Coordinate with production, creative, and technical teams for seamless delivery.
Operational & Financial Management
  • Manage budgets for efficiency and profitability.
  • Oversee studio operations for effectiveness.
  • Negotiate with and oversee third-party suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory standards.
  • Improve event processes continuously.
Client & Project Management
  • Serve as main contact for clients.
  • Manage expectations and satisfaction throughout projects.
  • Lead briefings, approvals, and post-event reviews.
  • Ensure quality and brand consistency.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration.
  • Support team development and innovation.
Business Development & Brand Representation
  • Represent Studio Giggle at industry events.
  • Support new business pursuits.
  • Contribute to proposals and marketing.
  • Promote our brand and values.
