Base pay range

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Event and Corporate Fundraiser to spearhead our event fundraising initiatives.

The successful candidate will be required to develop and maintain strong relationships with community and small corporate partners and organise impactful fundraising events. This individual will play a vital role in assisting our corporate team to achieve our financial goals and develop innovative event strategies, cultivate partnerships, and execute successful events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate new smaller corporate partnerships and maintain strong relationships with current corporate donors, ensuring alignment with Honeypot organisational goals and values, as well as those of the corporate.
  • Under the supervision of the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, prepare compelling event proposals, sponsorship packages, and presentations tailored to potential corporate supporters.
  • Ensure proper recognition of corporate and community contributions.
  • Plan, organise, and execute fundraising events, including sports events, auctions, charity runs, and networking events.
  • Develop event concepts within budgets, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and volunteers to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Evaluate event outcomes, analyse performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.

Partnership Development:

  • Identify and build partnerships with local businesses, community groups, schools, and other stakeholders.
  • Leverage networks and relationships to create innovative fundraising event opportunities.
  • Act as an ambassador for the organisation at external events and meetings.

Administrative & Reporting:

  • Track and report on fundraising events/activities, goals, and achievements.
  • Maintain accurate records of donor and sponsor interactions in the CRM system.
  • Prepare post-event reports and donor impact summaries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in fundraising, event management, or corporate partnerships.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Creative thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

  • Experience in non-profit or charitable organisations.
  • Familiarity with donor stewardship principles and practices.
