The Royal Academy of Music seeks an ambitious Events Coordinator for its Philanthropy team. This role includes coordinating various high-profile events and requires excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills. Ideal candidates will have event management experience, advocating for the Academy's mission and commitment to diversity.
The Royal Academy of Music is a vibrant institution with a diverse community of students and staff from over 60 countries. Renowned for developing future musical leaders across disciplines such as Classical Performance, Composition, Opera, Jazz, and Musical Theatre, the Academy offers numerous performance opportunities, hosting around 500 events annually.
Philanthropy is central to our mission, supporting initiatives like the Future campaign launched in 2022, which aims to raise £100 million to bolster our programs. We are seeking an ambitious and self-motivated Events Coordinator to join our Philanthropy team. Your role will involve coordinating high-profile donor engagement events, Academy-wide functions, and bespoke gatherings (virtual and in-person) throughout the year.
The ideal candidate will have prior hands-on experience in event management, excellent multitasking abilities, and strong organizational skills. You should be confident in planning and executing events, liaising effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and demonstrating tact and assertiveness when managing conflicting priorities. Discretion and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
