Job summary

Harbour Hotels Guildford is seeking an experienced Conference & Events Manager to lead the operation of all conferences, events, weddings, banquets and corporate functions within the hotel. You will plan, coordinate and deliver events, ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to Harbour Hotels standards.

The role requires strong organisational and leadership capabilities, with a track record in hospitality management and a passion for delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating as a Supervisor or management level within Conference & Events, Banqueting or Hospitality environment is essential.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the Conference & Events department.
• Lead, coach and develop the Conference & Events team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Recruit, train and induct new team members and manage staffing levels.
