Job Title: Events Coordinator Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire Contract: Permanent | Full-time (37.5 hrs/week including regular weekends, evenings) Reports to: Conference and Events Manager Salary: Up to £30,000 DOE
Overview: An exciting opportunity to join a prestigious venue’s in-house events team during a period of growth and transformation. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences and the drive to contribute to a dynamic, client-focused team.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate a wide range of events (corporate, weddings, outdoor) from initial enquiry through to execution
Liaise with clients and suppliers to ensure high standards and seamless delivery
Support sales efforts, client show rounds, and follow-ups
Maintain bookings, enquiry database, and ensure GDPR compliance
Assist with marketing, competitor monitoring, and promotional activities
Ensure venue setup, logistics, catering, and safety procedures are in place
Deliver excellent customer service and help drive repeat business
About You:
Previous events coordination or sales experience preferred (but a proactive attitude is key)
Organised, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
Strong communication and client-facing skills
Confident using booking systems/CRMs (Event Temple knowledge a plus)
Willing to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings
Creative thinker with a passion for hospitality and events
