We're looking for a dynamic and detail-driven Events Manager to join our team on a fixed-term basis.
You’ll be at the heart of our hospitality and events operation — overseeing the entire bookings process, collaborating with teams, and ensuring every client experience is nothing short of extraordinary.
Location: E14 5EY
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday - 40 hours per week working shifts
Contract: 9 month fixed term maternity
Salary: £36,920 per annum pro rata
What You’ll Do:
- Be the first point of contact for all hospitality and events enquiries.
- Lead and manage the events planning and bookings team with a hands-on, can-do approach.
- Work alongside the operational team to bring our client’s visions to life — from initial enquiry through to flawless delivery.
- Oversee menus, booking systems, event logistics, guest communication, and billing processes.
- Inspire your team to deliver exceptional service while keeping wellbeing, development, and motivation at the core.
- Support the General Manager and Head of Meetings and Events in delivering operational excellence across our vibrant and fast-paced site.
- Manage a team of two: Senior Event Coordinator and Event Coordinator.
What We’re Looking For:- A strong leader with at least 2 years of experience in events and hospitality management.
- A confident, organised, and proactive approach to leadership and service delivery.
- A confident multitasker who enjoys working with tech and navigating booking systems.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and people.
- Strong administrative and systems knowledge (especially around bookings and billing).
- Experience with EMS preferable.
- Ability to analyse, interpret, and organise financial reports to support accurate revenue tracking and effective cost control measures.
- A passion for events and hospitality, and a drive to go above and beyond for clients.
