Job description

Technology Connected are looking for Event Assistants to work at Wales Tech Week in the ICC Newport, Wales’ largest tech event. This is an excellent opportunity if you’re looking to gain experience in the events industry.

The duties for this role will involve scanning delegates into conference rooms, and general event assistance.

Working hours/ dates are as follows:

Monday 24 th November – Event – 9 hours

Tuesday 25 th November – Event – 9 hours

Person Specification:

• Enthusiastic and confident,
• Proven ability to speak to the public,
• Previous experience in an events-based role would be preferred.
• Ability to commute to ICC Newport (a shuttle bus will be running from Newport train station; there is limited parking on site). Travel expenses & meals whilst on shift will be covered.
