Overview

Events and Weddings Manager (Sales role) required for a hotel in the Redhill, Surrey area.

As Events and Weddings Manager you will be responsible for the reactive and proactive selling aspects of event sales and co-ordination covering conferences, events and some weddings.

For this opportunity of Events and Weddings Manager you will have previous sales and events co-ordination / administration experience within hospitality, along with a proven ability to achieve sales budget / business targets.

Responsibilities
  • Taking the booking enquiry, the co-ordination / administration, planning of the event, through to the function sheet for the operations team and generating invoices / payment
  • To assist with proactively selling this property, networking to develop local business links / generating new leads to increase sales and to maintain existing and return business.
  • To organise and host fam visits for local Companies to promote company facilities.
  • Review and action all aspects of events guest feedback, ensuring that the day to day running of the events department runs smoothly.
  • The role will require you to work 5 days a week on site, between a Monday to Saturday so that you can maximise event sales / arrange appointments for showrounds and to discuss clients details. The role will be mainly working office type hours, occasional evening / Sunday appointments - diary management to ensure sales are maximised.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for the role of Events and Weddings Manager (Sales role) is given as £32,000 - £35,000 per annum basic salary, plus an additional potential bonus on top subject to meeting sales targets. Other company benefits available.
