The Faculty of Arts & Humanities is distinctive in representing academic excellence across a diverse range of disciplines, from established fields such as Philosophy, Classics, and English, to newer areas including Digital Humanities and Film. Located in central London, the Faculty maintains strong connections with cultural institutions like the British Museum, Shakespeare’s Globe, and the National Portrait Gallery. With over 400 Postdoctoral Research students, the Faculty fosters a vibrant research environment that promotes innovation.
Based in the Faculty of Arts & Humanities, this position supports the Senior Events & Engagement Officer in managing events and engagement activities (in-person, hybrid, and online) across the faculty. The role involves supporting all departments with a wide range of events, including conferences, seminars, public exhibitions, and festivals, both virtually and in person. The role aims to enhance the public impact of our research and support the development of the REACH (Research & Engagement in the Arts, Culture & Humanities) Space.
The successful candidate will coordinate various engagement activities and events, overseeing organizational and administrative tasks, managing workload and resources efficiently. They will also assist in the administration and operation of the REACH Space and its activities.
Interviews are scheduled for the week beginning 19/05/2025.
This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) with an indefinite contract.
