Job description

Job Overview

Reporting into either the Branch Manager or the Welfare Services Co-ordinator, the Events & Toilet Operator's role is to deliver, service and collect temporary toilets to and from customers professionally, safely and on time.

Annual salary: £28,400

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out deliveries/collections as allocated to you by your line manager

  • Setting up equipment on site

  • Display professional customer service at all times whilst on site and driving the company vehicle

  • Service equipment on site in line with agreed rotas and legal requirements

  • Maintain equipment in line with company procedures

  • Branch Presentation

  • Alert your line manager to new sites/potential new customers

  • Carry out vehicle and pump checks every morning i.e. oil and water levels are sufficient, lights are working and tyres have the legal tread

  • Ensure the vehicle is always loaded safely and in line with company procedures

  • Where required, adhere to legal guidelines around the use of tachographs

  • Ensure company vehicles are driven safely and in accordance with UK law at all times

  • Maintain site & event equipment

  • Identify repairs and allocate to the correct status on the system

  • Electronic and/or paper documents raised, completed and signed by the customer at the time of delivery/collection

  • Assist and attend stock takes as required

  • To work with the business to ensure as far as is reasonably practicable compliance with current Health and Safety legislation

  • Ensure equipment is loaded correctly

  • Ensure equipment is not left in public areas

  • Ensure equipment is maintained to current Health and Safety legislation standards

  • To ensure as far as is reasonably practicable, personal health & safety

  • When it is considered necessary or appropriate by management you may be required to carry out any other duties considered within your skill and competence to assist the smooth running of the business.
