Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Event Technology Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of event registration and technology solutions for high-profile events, tradeshows, and executive programs. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless, efficient, and brand-aligned event experiences—from website creation and pre-event planning to on-site execution and post-event analysis.

The ideal candidate will combine exceptional organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and strong technical acumen with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service to internal stakeholders and event attendees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with event planners to understand project requirements, technical scope, and desired functionality.
  • Design, develop, and maintain event registration websites and mobile applications, ensuring alignment with brand and data privacy standards.
  • Build and implement customized registration strategies, workflows, and attendee journeys.
  • Configure and manage event technology platforms (e.g., Cvent, JiffleNow), ensuring they meet specific event requirements.
  • Monitor deadlines, quotas, and milestones while coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery.

Attendee Communication & Support

  • Act as the primary contact for attendee registration inquiries via email, phone, or online platforms.
  • Resolve registration issues, including login problems, payment processing errors, and data entry corrections.
  • Deliver prompt, professional, and solutions-focused customer support.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Collect, validate, and maintain accurate attendee records in event databases.
  • Provide real-time registration updates and analytics to event stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT to troubleshoot and resolve system or data-related issues.

On-Site Event Support (as required)

  • Lead on-site registration operations, including badge printing, materials distribution, and payment handling.
  • Order and manage event technology equipment and supplies.
  • Train, schedule, and oversee on-site registration staff, ensuring a professional attendee experience.
  • Represent the brand on-site, particularly when technology is the primary service delivered.

Executive Meeting Coordination

  • Manage technology and scheduling for 1:1 executive meetings and booth tours at tradeshows and flagship events.
  • Oversee logistics and technology to ensure a seamless experience for participants.
  • Configure and oversee payment gateways in collaboration with third-party processors.
  • Process payments, refunds, and invoicing accurately.
  • Reconcile registration revenue and maintain compliance with financial procedures.

Post-Event Analysis

  • Produce post-event reports and insights to evaluate event success.
  • Gather and analyze attendee feedback to improve future event technology strategies.
  • Archive registration data in accordance with compliance policies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven track record in event registration management, event technology, and customer service roles.
  • Proficiency with event registration platforms—Cvent experience preferred; JiffleNow a plus.
  • Strong data management and reporting skills, with keen attention to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proactive problem-solver who thrives under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.

This is an exciting opportunity for a tech-savvy event professional to play a hands-on role in delivering exceptional attendee experiences through cutting-edge event technology solutions.
