Job summary

Compass Group PLC's Restaurant Associates is seeking enthusiastic Event Staff for casual, zero-hour work at the Royal Armouries. Join a busy events calendar, gain experience in hospitality and guest service, and be part of a supportive team.

You will assist with event setup, guest greetings, food and beverage service, and ensure excellent standards while working on Thursdays to Saturdays across peak shifts.

• Experience in hospitality, catering or events.
• Aged 18+ due to licensing requirements.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Event Staff to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Restaurant Associates on a permanent casual basis, contracted to 0 hours per week.

The Royal Armouries is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and customer-focused individuals to join our Events Team on a temporary, zero-hour basis from October through to late December. You'll be helping us deliver a busy calendar of events, including our renowned Christmas parties, ensuring every guest has a memorable experience!

About the role:

As part of our Events Team, you'll play a key role in bringing our events to life. Duties will vary depending on the function but may include:

• Assisting with event set-up and break-down
• Greeting and directing guests
• Providing food and beverage service
• Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from the bar

Shift Options:

We offer both long shifts (12:00pm–3:00am) and evening shifts (6:00pm–3:00am). We understand that you may not be available for every event; however, as the majority of our functions take place on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, successful applicants will need to be available for the majority of these peak shifts.
