Be part of a vibrant Sales and Reservations team, central to the booking system for our hotels and experiences. Warm, confident and friendly, you will be the first port of call for our guests, responsible for understanding their needs, showcasing the hotels, upselling, and delivering exceptional customer service to ensure they book their unforgettable event with us. Quick thinking, you will use your initiative to solve problems and coordinate effectively with your wider team and departments. About you:

You might already be in the events sector, but this is not essential as we want the right person to join our great team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Confidently speaking with customers on the phone and via email, ensuring all phone calls & emails are answered quickly and efficiently
Identify the guests needs and deliver a service that is relevant to those needs, building a relationship with guests and going above & beyond guest expectations
Selling and upselling the hotels' products and services to ensure we create a memorable event for our guests.
Conducting client show rounds and appointments, displaying a clear & comprehensive knowledge of the venue, menus and packages available
Producing detailed proposals for prospective clients and client contracts, liaising to ascertain their precise event requirements and ensuring clients aware of the full terms of business
Contacting clients regarding contracts, invoices, processing deposits and payments.
Working to sales targets to support the delivery of the hotels budgeted revenue
Ensuring customer data is up to date and is GDPR compliant
Qualify new lead data and research key contact information. Completing competitor analysis, keeping on top of trends and competitor offerings
Assist with trade shows and travel fairs when needed
Ensure all administration is completed effectively and accurately to provide a smooth handover to the operational team who will be running the event
Ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction before, during and after each event. Including conducting post event feedback requests to check satisfaction and secure repeat business if appropriate
Carrying out spot checks at events, ensuring high operational standards are met at the venue
Providing friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and professional service at all times.
This role is full-time (5 days, 40 hours) but part-time hours can be considered for the right candidate. We work Monday – Sunday, with 8.5 hours shifts between the hours of 8am – 6.30pm, therefore weekend availability is important. This role is in person; we are unable to offer remote working.
Qualifications:
Experience in an events role, hotel reservations or sales environment is beneficial.
Computer literacy - training will be provided for our booking systems.
