Job Role : Sales Executive

Reporting to : Director of Sales

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, nurturing client relationships, and maximising venue revenue through the successful sale of event spaces and related services. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality and events, and the ability to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop tailored proposals, quotations, and contracts in line with client needs and venue capabilities.
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts to maximise repeat business and long term partnerships.
  • Use and manage venue directory platforms to respond to enquiries, send quotations, ensure platforms are kept up to date with relevant rates and information.
  • Conduct site visits, presentations, and negotiations with prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the operations and planning teams to ensure seamless event delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and client communications in CRM systems.
  • Keep up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
  • Represent the venue at trade shows, networking events, and promotional activities.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven experience in sales within the events, hospitality, or venue industry - minimum 1–2 years
  • Strong business development skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (hubspot), Gmail and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong customer service mindset and passion for delivering memorable experiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
