Delta Hotels By Marriott Worsley Park Hotel and Country Club in Manchester is seeking an Event Sales Executive to manage enquiries, convert bookings and coordinate with clients through planning. This is a full-time role based at the Marriott Worsley Park venue.

The position involves maximizing revenue by promoting hotel facilities, preparing proposals and contracts, and liaising with operations to ensure smooth event delivery.

Qualifications

• Manage event enquiries and bookings from initial enquiry through to event handover, acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout the planning process.
• Maximise sales opportunities by converting enquiries and promoting hotel facilities and services.
• Prepare accurate event documentation, including proposals, contracts and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
• Build strong relationships with clients, regular bookers and key accounts to encourage customer retention and repeat business.
• Liaise closely with operational teams to ensure the smooth and successful delivery of events and proactively resolve any potential challenges.
• Maintain accurate booking and customer information within company systems, following all relevant procedures and standards.
• Support sales and promotional activity, including wedding fairs, site visits, trips, mailings and other on- and off-site events.
• Monitor enquiries, business levels and competitor activity, providing relevant information to the Senior Event Manager.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of the hotel, function spaces, capacities, services, promotions and revenue opportunities.
• Support the wider Events and Sales team as required, contributing to the smooth running of the department.
• Participate in relevant training and development opportunities.
• To carry out any other reasonable tasks as requested by management
