We are excited to be recruiting for a Events Sales & Marketing Executive based at Royal Academy of Engineering.

Location: SW1Y 5DG

Salary: £31,988 per annum

Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9:00-17:00

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Event Coordination:

  1. Manage the full sales process from enquiry to event handover
  2. Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout planning
  3. Handle and convert incoming enquiries from clients and agencies
  4. Work closely with internal teams to coordinate referrals and briefs
  5. Assist in the delivery of showcase events and familiarisation trips
  6. Maintain and update the CRM system, supporting regular reporting
  7. Create tailored proposals and presentations for clients
  8. Identify new business through research and networking
  9. Attend open days, exhibitions, and industry events
  10. Collaborate with finance on event budgets and invoicing
  11. Coordinate logistics for events as required

Marketing Support:

  1. Assist with creating and curating content for social media, email newsletters, and digital marketing channels
  2. Help maintain website listings and marketing materials
  3. Support in the execution of campaigns and promotional events
  4. Monitor basic campaign performance and contribute ideas

Person Specification:

  1. Experience in venue sales, events, or catering is preferred
  2. Strong communication and organisation skills
  3. Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  4. Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
  5. Interest or experience in marketing is a plus
