About the Role:
Vori is looking for an Event Marketing Lead to lead and scale our event strategy across national tradeshows, local market activations, and hosted events. Your goal: drive qualified demos and leads for our sales team by building a strong, memorable presence where our buyers already are.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role for someone who can think strategically, execute scrappily, and loves building brand and pipeline through in-person experiences. You will be the first dedicated Events hire at Vori and it is a chance to create and scale a program from the ground-up.
What You’ll Do:
Own end-to-end event strategy and execution for both national and local events—across trade shows, industry conferences, and community events
Drive lead generation and sales pipeline by attracting qualified prospects and setting up the sales team for success with demos and post-event follow-up
Plan and eventually own hosted Vori events, including lunch & learns and private dinners in key markets
Partner with sales, marketing, and design teams to develop pre-, during-, and post-event campaigns
Manage logistics, vendor relationships, budgets, and timelines for all events
Create processes for tracking event ROI and performance metrics (leads, demos booked, cost per lead, etc.)
Stay on top of industry events, trends, and opportunities in the grocery/CPG space
Represent the brand and company culture with warmth, creativity, and precision
Who You Are:
Min 5+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or demand generation—ideally in B2B SaaS or retail/grocery tech
Proven track record of generating high-quality leads through event strategy and execution
Strong organizational and project management skills—you can juggle logistics and still make it feel magical
Comfortable working cross-functionally and collaborating closely with sales, design, and leadership
Excellent communicator, both in-person and written
Willing to travel regularly to support national and local events
Bonus: Experience marketing to independent retailers, CPGs, or within the grocery ecosystem
