Job Description:

At Optum, we are excited to recruit a Events and Marketing Manager on a permanent basis.

We lead in delivering patient-centered, connected, digitally enabled health and care services across various settings, from GP surgeries to hospitals. We are committed to developing innovative healthcare technology that makes a difference.

What you’ll do

You will support customer retention, drive market growth, and enhance brand positioning by planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns and managing our events and conferences. This role suits a highly organized, creative individual passionate about communication and storytelling.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and boost engagement.
• Creating compelling copy for digital and traditional media channels.
• Collaborating with sales, product development, and communications teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.
• Maintaining consistent messaging and a strong brand image with internal and external stakeholders.

Events:

• Planning and managing webinars and user group meetings to foster community and provide insights.
• Creating promotional messages and strategies for successful events.
• Preparing event kits and assisting with setup at conferences and exhibitions.

Who You’ll Be

Key skills and experience required:

• Understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing, and content creation.
• Excellent communication and copywriting skills, capable of simplifying complex messages.
• Experience in multi-channel content creation is a plus.
• Proficiency with content management systems and marketing platforms.
• Knowledge of health technology or NHS is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience with large conferences is beneficial.
