Arden University is seeking an Event Manager for the Centre for Academic Persistence. This role involves planning and executing large-scale events to support students. This role operates a hybrid working model requiring travel to Coventry head office or various campuses for events. Our working arrangements are a non-contractual benefit, with an Arden work location added to employment contracts.

Some travel to external venues during new student orientation week (every 10 weeks).

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

The Centre for Academic Persistence supports students through their first-year journey via programs like Foundation Year, CertHE, On Track, Pass First Time, and orientation activities.
The Event Manager will oversee academic persistence initiatives, including orientation activities for approximately 10,000 students annually. Responsibilities include event planning, execution, analysis, working with leadership, managing budgets, and coordinating with internal/external stakeholders. The role involves supporting strategy development, managing staff and volunteers, and ensuring successful event delivery.
