Fitch Group is currently seeking a Event Manager (12 Month FTC) based out of our London office.

About the Team:

The Event Manager will be an integral part of the Global Events team in developing high-quality Fitch customer engagement programs that advance the Fitch Group brand through the flawless delivery and execution of events at industry trade shows and conferences as well as Fitch-hosted events in EMEA. We are looking for a seasoned event manager with a proven track record who can quickly take charge of a dynamic portfolio of events to cover a maternity contract.

The role of Event Manager for Fitch Group, reporting into the EMEA Head of Events, is to manage a busy calendar of events both Fitch owned and third-party events, as well as virtual events. Collaborating with internal and external partners, this role works closely with the wider Group Marketing functions to ensure that all our events are well promoted, attended and executed, and that our presence at events is well managed, professional, measured and aligned with business strategy.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Plan and execute a diverse range of events, including third-party, hosted conferences, and virtual events. Ensure each event aligns with Fitch Group strategies and incorporates our best practices for optimal outcomes.
  • Oversee event logistics by managing registration processes, speaker coordination, and onsite activities, secure venues, catering, audio/visual equipment, and other event essentials
  • Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence
  • Oversee the global event calendar to prevent scheduling conflicts and ensure alignment and coordination among Fitch Group companies
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and business units to align on short- and long-term business objectives, focusing on KPI measurements and overall strategy
