Job Overview

Due to increasing demand, we are expanding our Events Team and looking for a talented Events Manager to join us. In this role, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end project management—from taking client briefs and sourcing venues to coordinating logistics, providing on-site support, and evaluating event success post-delivery.

We are looking for someone who is confident, adaptable, well-organised, and highly motivated. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a sharp eye for detail, and a true passion for delivering outstanding events.

Please note that this is a full time onsite role based at our office in Newbury Berkshire!

Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver projects / events from enquiry to execution stage
  • Handle incoming project briefs, take comprehensive briefing notes and proactively manage event planning activities
  • Research and propose suitable venues via venue finding decks
  • Liase with Senior Event Manager / Director of Events for creation of proposal and concept creation for larger scale events.
  • Work alongside, Senior Event Manager / Director of Events to prepare detailed and accurate client quotes based off project plan costings for larger scale events.
  • Book and organise off-site client meetings, site visits and planning sessions
  • Oversee contracts, invoices, and payment processes
  • Negotiating venue rates and commission
  • Oversee all aspects of event logistics including supplier management, AV, catering, staffing, and on-site operations
  • Ensure timely and efficient project delivery in a fast-paced environment
  • Provide hands-on support during event setup and execution (including evenings)
  • Manage virtual events and platforms as needed
  • Conduct post-event reviews and client debriefs to assess outcomes and improvements
  • Work across departments to ensure smooth project flow
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to align event delivery with client objectives
Qualifications
  • A willingness and flexibility to travel within and outside of the UK for events
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-year relevant experience in event management.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Flexible and able to support off-site events and occasional travel
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
