The Role

As Event Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end planning and delivery of high-profile events. You’ll work closely with clients, suppliers, venues, and internal teams to ensure every event runs smoothly, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organise, and deliver a wide range of events including conferences, exhibitions, brand activations, and private functions.
  • Develop detailed project timelines, budgets, and event logistics plans.
  • Liaise with clients to understand objectives, expectations, and deliverables.
  • Source and negotiate with vendors, venues, and suppliers.
  • Manage event set-up, on-site execution, and breakdown with a hands-on approach.
  • Lead and motivate on-site teams, freelancers, and event staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and licensing requirements.
  • Monitor project milestones, costs, and performance KPIs.
  • Produce post-event reports, client feedback reviews, and continuous improvement plans.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in event management, preferably in an agency or corporate setting.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
  • Proficient in event management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings, weekends, and travel when required.
  • Calm under pressure, with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
  • Budget and timeline management expertise.
  • Full UK driving licence is highly desirable.
