Description As an Events Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering high-profile events that bring together retailers, brands, suppliers and industry leaders from across the retail sector. Taking ownership of a portfolio of conferences, awards and networking events, you'll create exceptional experiences that strengthen our brands, connect our communities and deliver value for customers and stakeholders.
Position location: This position can be based in either our London or Brighton office, with flexibility to travel between sites.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing a portfolio of conferences, awards and networking events from initial planning through to on-site delivery and post-event completion
- Creating and managing detailed project plans and critical paths to ensure successful delivery against agreed timelines
- Managing event budgets, supplier relationships and venue sourcing to deliver commercially successful events
- Coordinating event logistics, including speakers, sponsors, catering, audio-visual requirements and technical production
- Building strong relationships with sponsors, venues, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless event experience
- Taking ownership of on-site event delivery, proactively resolving issues and ensuring events are executed to a high standard
What You’ll Need
- Experience managing events from planning through to delivery, ideally within a corporate, B2B, agency or commercial events environment
- Confidence taking ownership of events and managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Experience coordinating conferences, awards or other stakeholder-led events, including sponsor and speaker management
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence working with clients, sponsors, suppliers, venues and colleagues across the business
- A proactive, hands‑on approach and willingness to be at the heart of event delivery, both onsite and behind the scenes
