Event Installation Operative

£14.00 per hour

We are recruiting for a hands on Event Installation Operative to join a specialist team based in Pershore.

This is a varied role working on the installation and dismantling of pop up bars and event equipment at venues across the UK. You'll work as part of a small team, typically 2 - 4 people, travelling to events, building the bars on site, connecting the equipment and then dismantling everything once the event has finished.

No formal trade qualification is required. We're looking for someone practical, reliable and mechanically minded who is confident using hand and power tools and is happy with physical work.

The role would suit someone from a background in assembly, production, construction, labouring, fitting, maintenance, shop fitting, vehicle fitting or similar.

Duties will include:
  • Travelling to event locations throughout the UK

Working arrangements

Due to the nature of the events industry, working hours will vary. Early starts are common and some late finishes will be required depending on travel and event schedules. Weekend work will also form part of the role.

The pay rate is £14.00 per hour for all hours worked, including weekends.

The role involves travel throughout the UK. Overnight stays can be sporadic and there may be periods with no nights away followed by busier periods requiring overnight stays.

When working away:
  • Accommodation is paid for
  • A food allowance is provided
  • Company vehicles are used for work travel and collected from/returned to the Pershore base
