Job summary

TeamSport is the UK's No.1 indoor karting company, with 37 tracks nationwide and growing across Europe. This split role combines two exciting responsibilities: Track Marshal/Host and Coach - Alternative Provision, enabling you to deliver safe, fun experiences and run vocational sessions.

As Track Marshal/Host you greet drivers, brief on safety, marshal races, and upsell merchandise and events. As a Coach in Alternative Provision you lead Functional Skills and Motor Vehicle Studies sessions,

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in teaching, classroom leadership, or youth work (QTS not required).
• Ability to manage behaviour and engage learners creatively.
• Flexible and proactive, ready to handle two dynamic roles.

Responsibilities

• Track Marshal/Host: Greet and register drivers, deliver safety briefings, commentate on races.
• Track Marshal/Host: Assist customers with race suits, helmets, and kart safety checks.
• Track Marshal/Host: Marshal races, wave flags, and keep events running smoothly.
• Track Marshal/Host: Upsell merchandise, memberships, and events while meeting targets.
• Coach - Alternative Provision: Lead small group lessons in Functional Skills (Maths & English).
• Coach - Alternative Provision: Support vocational sessions (Motor Vehicle Studies - training provided).
• Coach - Alternative Provision: Track progress, manage behaviour positively, and collaborate with the Fast Forward education team.

The Role

This is a split role combining two exciting responsibilities:

• Track Marshal & Host: Be the friendly face of TeamSport, ensuring customers have a safe, fun, and memorable experience.
• Coach - Alternative Provision: Inspire and engage young people in our vocational education programme, helping them gain confidence, skills, and qualifications in a unique setting.

As a Track Marshal / Host, you will:

• Greet and register drivers, deliver safety briefings, and commentate on races.
• Assist customers with race suits, helmets, and kart safety checks.
• Marshal races, wave flags, and keep events running smoothly.
• Upsell merchandise, memberships, and events while meeting team targets.

As a Coach in Alternative Provision, you will:

• Lead small group lessons in Functional Skills (Maths & English) and support vocational sessions (Motor Vehicle Studies - training provided).
• Create a safe, positive learning environment for young people, many with SEMH needs.
• Track progress, manage behaviour positively, and collaborate with the Fast Forward education team.
• Champion safeguarding and ensure inclusive, engaging learning experiences.

What We're Looking For
