Event Helper

Volunteers are needed to help out during one of our unique events and private group days at Talliston, a unique house and gardens in Great Dunmow, dubbed “Britain’s Most Extraordinary Home” by The Times.

We are looking to expand our small team of indispensable volunteers. If you’d enjoy helping set up and run a private event in the extraordinary world inside Talliston, ensuring people have a fantastic time and lending an organisational hand, this could be the perfect role for you. Your commitment would be occasional dates throughout the year.

Tasks include:

• Setting up and decorating house and gardens for events
• Setting out catering food and equipment
• Welcoming and directing guests
• Helping to clear and pack up after events

We have an event calendar planned a year in advance, so volunteers have advanced notice of dates and times. Usually, events fall on Fridays and weekend afternoons and evenings.
